STYLE GUIDE EDITS

The following style guide was written for FlexSim by students in my basic copyediting class. The purpose of this assignment was to show the group's ability to write a style guide that followed The Chicago Manual of Style and principles of global English.

The audience for this style guide is employees at FlexSim who would be writing or editing content that would be published by the company. As a software company, FlexSim has customers with various backgrounds and levels of expertise in the topic.

The edits I suggested to this group helped the credibility of the document by making sure there were no copy or formatting errors. Since this style guide was written by a group, I also payed close attention to ensure the voice and formatting of the style guide was consistent. I used track changes on Microsoft Word to complete this assignment.

Below is a sample of the style guide I edited.
