The BYU PRSSA 2020 executive board was elected during COVID -19, so it was impossible to take a photo together to announce who was on the board. As the VP of Digital Media for the chapter, it was my responsibility to get a fun and engaging announcement posted to social media.
To get around the challenge of social distancing and board members living in different states, I decided that a video would be the best way to show the chapter who was on the new board. TikTok style transitions were a fun, guaranteed way to catch peoples' attention, so I wanted to incorporate those into the video as well.
Coordinating the objects and directions they were "passed" to other members took a lot of organization and communication, but the video turned out well and is has some of the highest engagement on our channels.
