NETWORKING FLYER

Informative pages or flyers often contain valuable information, but fliers may be ignored if the design isn’t eye-catching and easy to read. I wrote the copy and designed this networking flyer for an oral report in my genre and substantive editing class.

The audience for this project were the students in my editing class as well as the professor. This means that the copy was written to convince students about the importance of networking and give them tips about how to get started.

First, I figured out what I wanted to share and wrote out all the copy. A requirement of this assignment was to have keywords and essay questions. Then I broke up the text into sections that would be easy to digest. Finally, I added visual elements to attract the interest of my audience. This flyer was created using Adobe InDesign.
