This infographic was created for my media design and graphics class. The audience for the project was the students in our class and the professor. I chose the topic of connecting with Instagram followers since I am interested in social media management and wanted to display the things I had learned in other classes.
First, I wrote the copy and divided it by section. Next I browsed social media related stock photos for inspiration of what graphic I wanted to design. Then I created my graphic using Adobe Illustrator.
The biggest challenge with this project was establishing the correct hierarchy. I did this by making the graphic in the middle bigger than it was originally. I also emphasized the title by increasing the size. I also changed the section headings to be a different color so they stood out from the body copy.
